![]() ![]() It is not recommended to use 3D Printed parts for use in confined spaces that are subject to high temperatures as the parts may distort. In addition the point at which the plastic becomes pliable is a lot less than regular plastics. As a result the resulting completed parts are not as strong as normal injection molded plastics. This means that plastic is heated and layered upon itself to build the final part. ![]() These imperfections do not affect the function of the part.Īll 3D Printed products are made by the Plastic Extrusion method. This Charging Dock is made with PETG plastic (Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol) which makes the part very strong and resistant to heat (The glass transition temperature is the temperature where the material starts to soften and it is 185F for PETG) The surface will have some aesthetic imperfections just like any other 3D printed Part. If you have any other questions please feel free to contact me directly at Figxter3d. ![]() Update: This will not fit the new rubberized handle Babyliss Trimmers. I found that small Velcro strips worked the best to keep the dock on the work station. I have noticed that a little resistance is needed to keep the dock on the table when you grab the device out of the dock. Note that depending on the cable and the expansion of plastic on the device and the cable, your device may just come in and out with ease. I left the bottom as flat as possible for the flexibility of adding Velcro, magnets, double sided tape or glue to the bottom of the dock to keep it in place. The cable has to be pulled from the bottom in the right orientation to be able to charge the device properly. The trimmers original cable fits from the side and it will set in place by pulling it from the bottom. This is an original design of mine for the Cordless BaByliss PRO Silver FX Skeleton trimmer, the BaByliss PRO Silver FX Skeleton trimmer Charging Dock. CABLE AND TRIMMER NOT INCLUDED!!!!! THIS IS NOT A FULLY ELECTRONIC DOCK. ![]()
